Terms of use

The short version: we introduce golfers who might enjoy a round together. We don’t book tee times, and we can’t promise how any round will go.

1. Who can join

You must be 18 or over and give accurate details. One account per person. Keep your password to yourself.

2. What we do and don’t do

• We suggest golfers and groups, and explain why they might fit. Suggestions are based on what members share and aren’t a guarantee of compatibility.
• A match or an accepted request is not a booking. Tee times, green fees and course access are between you and the club, under the club’s rules. A booking shown as “reported by a member” hasn’t been confirmed by the club.
• We don’t check a handicap or club membership unless a check is shown as completed. A stated handicap is the member’s own statement.
• We aren’t a party to arrangements between members.

3. Your conduct

Follow the community guidelines. You’re responsible for what you post and how you behave when you meet other golfers.

4. Safety

Meeting people you don’t know carries some risk. Use your judgement, meet at the club, and tell someone your plans. You can block or report anyone at any time.

5. Moderation

We may remove content, warn, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, to protect members. We record moderation decisions and the reasons for them.

6. Price

Membership is free during development. Paid membership, if introduced, will be explained clearly first (to be confirmed).

7. Leaving

You can delete your account at any time from Your data. Anything open with other golfers is closed and they’re told it has ended.

8. Liability

to be confirmed: limitation of liability wording, drafted by a lawyer. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

9. Changes and law

We’ll tell members about significant changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
