Community guidelines

Golf gets better with the right people. These are the basics that make it work for everyone.

Be the golfer people want to play with

• Be honest about how you play. A stated handicap is a promise to be fair, not a boast.
• Send requests to golfers whose plans genuinely fit yours. Don’t mass-message.
• Keep messages about the round. Be friendly, not overfamiliar.

An easy no

• Anyone can decline, change plans or leave a group without giving a reason.
• Don’t push after a no, and don’t ask why.
• If plans change, tell the other golfers in good time.

Respect privacy

• Share contact details, real names or exact travel plans only when you’re comfortable, and never someone else’s.
• Don’t screenshot or share other members’ messages or Passports outside the service.

Rounds and bookings

• An accepted request is an introduction, not a booking. Agree the details, then book with the club under its rules.
• Only record a booking you’ve actually made.
• Turn up, or cancel early.

Not allowed

• Harassment, abuse, threats or discrimination.
• Sexual content or advances.
• Selling, advertising or promoting anything.
• Fake profiles, or pretending to be someone else.
• Using the service if you’re under 18.

If something goes wrong

Block anyone, at any time, from their Passport. They can no longer contact you or appear in your matches, and they aren’t told why. Report a concern and our moderators review it privately. We may warn or suspend members who break these guidelines.
